    The university is active in introducing quality education resources, gradually setting up pluralistic school system run by the state, and supported by joint cooperation with foreign schools, with private sectors, with enterprises and with other schools. IEN-Start College of Minjiang University, cooperated with IEN International Education Group, is the only Sino-Foreign joint university in Fujian which has been officially confirmed by the Ministry of Education and which has carried out higher credential education. The software personnel training base (SoftwareCollege) of MinjiangUniversity based on the model of school and enterprise cooperation is the first national software personnel training base and the leading unit of Fujian Software vocational education group. The Min-Taiwan cooperation project carried out by StraitCollege is a cooperative personnel training project Between Minjiang University and Chinese Culture University of Taiwan and TaiwanPracticeUniversity. Fuzhou garment College jointly-run by the university and Xi'an Engineering University has become a cradle of compound high-quality artistic design and garment talents. The university has established various forms of international exchange and cooperation with TasmaniaUniversity of Australia, Brock University of Canada, Mount Holyoke College of America, Koszalin University of Technology of Poland, and also various forms of Min-Taiwan exchange and cooperation with Zhong Hua University of Taiwan and Science and Technology College of South Asia.
