On June 16, the "Gather in Fuzhou for a Promising Future" Job & Internship Fair was held at Rongqiao Cultural and Sports Center of Minjiang University. Co-organized by Minjiang University and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureaus of Fuzhou City, Taijiang District and Minhou County, the event catered to graduating students of 2026 seeking full-time jobs and undergraduates of 2027 looking for internships. Ren Tao, Deputy Party Secretary of Minjiang University, and Hua Zhimin, Member of the Standing Committee of Taijiang District Party Committee and Deputy District Chief, attended the fair to offer guidance.

A total of 117 high-quality employers participated in the fair, offering more than 2,400 full-time and internship vacancies covering key industries including intelligent manufacturing, electronic information, commerce and service, biomedicine and new materials. The posts are highly aligned with the university’s academic disciplines and its training orientation for application-oriented talents. The fair provided full-time opportunities for the Class of 2026 while opening internship positions for current sophomores and juniors of the Class of 2027, enabling underclassmen to gain early exposure to the workplace and accumulate practical experience, thus linking employment and internship development seamlessly.

The fair adopted a dual-track service model combining human counseling and intelligent terminals to build a full-cycle job-seeking support system. Six offline special service counters were set up to offer one-on-one professional consultation on six categories: military recruitment policies, civil service exam preparation, postgraduate entrance exams, overseas study consultation, resume review and employment policies. Meanwhile, the "Little Lucky Star AI" intelligent employment terminals were deployed on site, which can instantly interpret talent incentives, match vacancies intelligently and inform students of labor rights and interests, delivering well-rounded support with thoughtful manual services and efficient smart technology.

Taijiang District and Minhou County participated in the event as county and district recruitment delegations, with two exclusive talent introduction zones set up for simultaneous job promotion and policy briefings. Minhou County focused on manufacturing posts and elaborated on application procedures for entrepreneurship subsidies and employment allowances; Taijiang District centered on modern service industries and the digital economy, explaining talent-friendly policies on household registration settlement and housing support. The two zones not only helped local enterprises recruit suitable talents in a targeted manner but also clarified local career paths for students, further consolidating the collaborative development framework featuring university-local integration and joint talent cultivation.

Employment constitutes a crucial final link of talent cultivation and requires consistent systematic efforts. This fair serves as a vital platform to help the Class of 2026 secure jobs and a starting point for the Class of 2027 to explore career possibilities. Minjiang University will keep upgrading its employment services, coordinate employment support for two cohorts of students in a phased and orderly way, and fully support all students to achieve high-quality growth and career success.
